A One-month Natural Medicine Apprenticeship Opportunity in the Amazon Basin

As this Hearts-n-Barks Apprenticeship Program is a one-on-one immersion experience, there are normally only four vacancies per year. So, if you are interested, please plan far ahead.

Explore the craft of making medicinal plant remedies and start an enlightening adventure. First, you will experience the realm of plant consciousness, practicing methods of making energetic connections with the plants. Then you will move on to sustainable harvesting, energy purification, raw material sizing and drying, and medicines preparation using a variety of techniques.

You will discover how to properly store and package your medicines for an extended shelf life. You will also practice holistically choosing potential plant medicines for other people. You have the option of spending the latter part of your apprenticeship in a traditional Shamanic Isolation Diet, carefully monitored by Maestra Diana. Having learned to listen to the plants, you will diet the plant that has reached out to you throughout your process. This is an opportunity unlike anything offered because you work with the plant extensively, connecting, harvesting, sizing, and cooking, before dieting. Plus, the medicine for the diet is made with your own hands every step of the way!
